Time Out

A Residential Ministry

Our residential program is for young women over the age of 18 who are pregnant and abortion-vulnerable.  Our program is free-of-charge with one caveat, each resident must choose life for their unborn child and have a sincere desire to enter our program.

Our Program

There is no cost for our program residents at The Christmas Village. All that’s required is a cooperative attitude, a willingness to learn and grow, and a commitment to volunteer at Village Confections that helps pay for expenses at The Christmas Village. Our residence is not just a house, it is a home. Our residents are responsible for the chores, cooking, and maintaining an air of cooperation, laughter, and love. In return, we provide for their needs during their stay with us:

  • Physical (housing, food, and clothing)
  • Spiritual (daily Bible study, weekly church attendance)
  • Educational (assistance in obtaining GED if no high school diploma)
  • Emotional (counseling)
  • Life Skills (parenting, money management, etc.)
  • Job Skills (we help our residents find their passion)
Each woman that we accept into the program has a two week probationary period. In that time, she will decide if she can live by house rules and take advantage of the experience. At the same time, we will assess her needs so that we can set some solid goals to help her achieve during her stay.
Our Policies

At this time, we are unable to accept any woman under the age of 19 or women with existing children.
